Cute and Affordable Nursery Art
I’m happy the One Room Challenge got extended one week for the first time ever this round, because I really needed the extra time to get my nursery’s curtains delivered in time for reveal photos. The circumstances for the extension are unfortunate however. It’s because so many natural disasters have been happening around the country people are dealing with all kinds of delays. But the spirit of the extension was so we can all cross the finish line together which just shows what a great design blogging community this is! Now that all the furniture is in (see last week’s post) the next couple of weeks will be about accessorizing and decorating, which is often the best part of a room design. Especially, when it’s super cute baby stuff! You get to see the vision all come together and the personality and unique touches come through. This week I’m sharing the art I’m going to be using and a round up of super cute, affordable nursery art options that I loved. First, I “shopped” my existing art collection and ended up taking apart my family room gallery wall, because I thought two of them would work really well in the nursery! This Peony photograph* by Georgianna Lane:
and this Gems in Summer watercolor print* by Yao Cheng:
By the way, they both have a lot of beautiful art that would work well in any room. Check out their Etsy shops here: Georgianna Lane* | Yao Cheng*. They are two of my favorites. Then I hopped onto Minted* which is one of my favorite sources for affordable, cute, and curated prints. They have a lot of great children’s art* options. I think I looked through hundreds of prints before I decided on this Wonder* print. Just loved the cute bears and how full of, well, wonder, this print makes you feel.
I popped all these pieces in very affordable white frames from Ikea and HomeGoods, and love how they look together. Similar white frame*. I can’t wait to hang them!
If you’re looking for cute and affordable nursery or children’s art here is a selection from Minted that I also loved. Would love to use these in another nursery or child’s room design project!
