This 1940’s home on a tree-lined street in Burlingame had beautiful elements of traditional style and character. The client, a family with 2 young children, wanted contemporary and polished spaces. We kept the character of an older home while adding a touch of layered, modern glamour to the formal living room meant to be a space for the adults. A bold color statement adds warmth and depth to the dining room, and layers of texture and pattern transform the outdoor patio into an inviting space for entertaining.
